McLay 390 with 30hp Mercury
Highly stable pontoon sided McLay 390 with 30hp Mercury 2 stroke engine. Steering cable recently replaced. Motor serviced at Ocean Sport Marine in Whakatane where it was purchased in 2002. Boat has been stored under cover (car port) at all times. Boat is Nyalic coated to protect from oxidisation and corrosion. Comes with as follows: shovel anchor (see photo), approx 5m chain plus est 50m rope. 2 x adult plus 2 x children life jackets Oars 25 liter fuel container
Have used the boat at West End Ohope beach, light enough to launch on the beach and great design to get through the surf. Regularly go out to Whale Island for fishing/diving. Boat is based in West End Ohope so trailer doesn't have WOF or Registration. Would need lights and bearings checked. Seems ok but I not an expert. Rims have rust on them which has been treated. Boat is available to view in Ohope.
