Yamaha XT 1981



Selling my beloved legendary XT400 - sad to be parting with her but need money for overseas travel!

This bike has been such great fun, and equally suited on the motorway as she is off-road. The XT is easy to ride and not too tall (see last photo for scale, I'm not tall haha) so would suit riders of any sizes or experience.

She's not in mint condition, and has small spots of rust, but for a bike from 1981 she is looking pretty great.

About $1,500 of mechanic work has been spent on her over this last year, including a carb rebuild and major electrical works - receipts available.

Registration is currently on hold, and WoF is overdue. I can get this arranged if need be, but has barely been ridden since the last WoF, which was very thorough from Auckland Motorcycle Services.

This bike is a classic beauty and so much fun to ride - even Rambo had an XT! I don't want to let her go, but having two bikes is hard to justify, and I need funds for overseas travel.
