This model suffered from vapor lock the carburetor has additional venting to resolve this without modifying the carburetor itself....
This model suffered from a water pump impeller wear problem which has been resolved by upgrading to the YZ250L1984 system using OEM parts....
This is a very fast 250 capable of running with 490s and 500s of it's era in the wright hand's...
It is tuned to run on BP 98 fuel
