Holden Astra My8.5 Cdti 2009



Having to get rid of this wonderful car as have upgraded to something with 4WD.

The generous space inside has been ideal for adventuring with my sizable toys (surf boards, skis etc). The diesel engine is also amazingly economical on the open road. I once drove from Auckland to Queenstown and only needed to fill up once on the way (in Blenheim)! From memory that was about 5.4L/100km. The fuel economy obviously isn't that good when driving in urban areas but still pretty good.

Just had a professional interior clean.The car has also been regularly serviced. There is a handy trip computer which tells the outside temp, current fuel consumption and average fuel consumption.

As well as being economical, it does have plenty of guts when you need it and has tiptronic and sports mode. Also has cruise control which is very handy.

Road User Charges has a bit over 2000km left before it needs topping up.
