Other Oldsmobile Starfire 1962



I imported this Oldsmobile into NZ 9 years ago. Life is moving in different direction for me and it is time for this great example of early 60s American engineering to have a new home.

This car is rust free

The Starfire was the top of the line for Oldsmobile and sports a number of features that made it top end luxury in 1962, two door pillar less, sporting a 394 big block V8 @ 345HP connected to a 3 stage Hydra-Matic Auto gearbox

A number of features I have not fixed are electric aerial, clock, heater

The car has been rust guarded, brakes reconditioned, engine compartment painted, white roof repainted,new radiator, new wheel bearings, new stabilizer rubbers, new front shocks, new control arm bushes,new ignition set- wire set,distributor,rotor and points. New head liner, front seats recovered,

All mechanical parts have been bought in from Fusick Autos out of USA

This is a very driveable car that you can enjoy just the way it is without having to invest great amounts of money to be able to enjoy a by gone error

It is a 56year old car pretty much in original condition, a solid car for its age, two minor dents and the bottom half of the car is mostly original paint, original carpets, back seats original coverings, big spacious boot,
